Affectivity Collapse Affective Blunting
Definition
Acquired affective blunting: both felt emotion and receptive contact sit below center after a period in which they did not. Observable flat affect, depressive illness, and psychotic-spectrum negative symptoms are separate determinations, read from history rather than from the O-under/E-under target. Clinical history is what separates this manifestation from trait, occupational, and contemplative contexts.
