Definition

Instrumental, performed empathy compensating for structurally absent own-affect integration: a hyper-attuned surface display standing in for affect that is not integrated. Differentiates from Suffering Overflow (caregiver) by performative-not-embodied character (VR central rather than OP), by instrumentalized cognitive empathy (OM over-intake harnessed to extractive relational intent), and by structural rather than functional severity.
