Articulation Flood Cluttered Speech
Definition
Cluttering, a fluency disorder — thought outpacing motor-linguistic formulation, producing rapid, irregular, telescoped speech emitted before formulation completes. A trait-level outpacing of the expressive row over the forming step. Distinct from Pressured Speech by the motor-linguistic pacing running ahead of formulation with no elevated mood behind it; distinct from Conceptual Proliferation by ordinary content arriving at ordinary rate and only the output stage losing synchrony.
