Articulation Withdrawal Expression Gap
Definition
This is the diagnosis-neutral form of V-under/M-centered: usable thought is present and outward forming is reduced, without enough evidence to infer selective mutism, anxiety, language disorder, or chosen silence. It differs from Articulation Freeze because Mental is not over-active, and from Articulation Depletion because content itself is not sparse. The generic route therefore supports outward expression or a stated decision before selecting an etiology-specific protocol.
