Definition

Depersonalization can include subjective emotional numbing while awareness remains clear enough to recognize that feeling is distant or reduced, a bounded F-centered/E-under presentation. This differs from alexithymia, where identifying or describing feeling is difficult, and from anhedonia, which concerns pleasure, reward, and motivation rather than global affective volume. Cultivated bare attention is not an under-active Emotional state.
