Belonging Withdrawal Subjective Aloneness
Definition
Subjective loneliness as a chronic condition distinct from objective social isolation. The loneliness-as-perceived-disconnection research line established that the experience of disconnection — not the count of social ties — drives the morbidity profile and the cognitive-behavioral cascade. Insecure attachment is risk-elevating but not diagnostic.
