Communion Spin Surrogate Leader
Definition
Direct access to felt sacred meaning is unavailable and the holding capacity recruits a substitute to stand in its place, gripping what it can reach while the Spiritual column stays depleted. In the surrogate-leader form a human figure becomes the replacement sacred object, and challenge registers as betrayal because the bond is carrying what the depleted ground no longer supplies. In the compulsive-observance form the substitute is behavioral rather than personal: religious ritual is performed to represent the bond rather than enacted from it, an intrusive moral thought driving the act and its completion relieving the distress just long enough to reinforce the loop. Distinct from Doctrinal Armor by an act or a figure standing in for the missing encounter rather than a rigid belief structure, and the origin must be established from the grid rather than inferred from devotion or group membership alone.
