Communion Withdrawal Acedia Torpor

cascade-variant.communion-withdrawal-acedia-torporclinical register

Definition

Classical acedia: the sacred framework and practice remain available, but Bond withdraws from engaging them, showing listlessness, aversion, or restless flight from the work of communion. This subtype requires Spiritual to remain centered; dryness or absent sacred content belongs elsewhere. It differs from Collapse because the sacred ground remains, and from injury-driven Faith Distancing because disengagement is not organized around a specific betrayal. Absent sustained distress or impairment, it is a low-priority contemplative obstacle rather than a disorder.
