Definition
Anxious-preoccupied attachment — the hyperactivating complement to dismissive armor: feeling floods loud and Bond grasps hard toward the other, yet can never settle on or be soothed by any single feeling, so it churns in ambivalent clinging and protest. Unlike Detached-Armor's deactivating shut-off, Self-as-Bad's shame collapse, Somatic-Discharge's alexithymic body-routing, Rage-Eruption's V-outlet, Bond-Arrest's frozen tie to the lost, or Chest-Fire's cultural suppression, here the bond over-reaches and cannot rest.
