cascade-variant
Identification Collapse Narrative Loss
Definition
This variant applies only when a depressive episode includes markedly sparse or disorganized self-related thought together with under-active holding. The negative self-pole of the depressive cognitive triad is not sufficient, because frequent or rigid negative thoughts can preserve or increase Mental activity. Episodic linkage to mood distinguishes it from the conditional chronic identity-diffusion form.
