cascade-variant
Identification Flood Delusional Self
Definition
This variant is reserved for a clinically assessed psychotic presentation in which a fixed self-referential belief is both excessive in Mental load and over-held as identity. Unusual beliefs, cultural or religious frameworks, and psychosis without this B+/M+ pattern are outside scope. Impaired reality testing distinguishes it from nonpsychotic grandiosity, while individual clinical assessment distinguishes it from coercive shared doctrine and mood-linked mania.
