cascade-variant
Identification Withdrawal Stress Haze
Definition
A possible low-acuity depersonalization-like presentation with preserved reality testing. The cited literature supports transient self-detachment in nonclinical and clinical contexts, but depersonalization does not by itself prove that autobiographical thought is centered or that Bond alone is under-active. Use this variant only when the self-story remains available and the disturbance is specifically one of felt ownership; intensity and insight do not by themselves distinguish it from neighboring cascades.
