cascade-variant
Inhabitation Flood Somatic Preoccupation
Definition
Illness-anxiety and somatic-symptom presentations can include amplified sensation, catastrophic interpretation, scanning, and reassurance seeking. They fit this variant only when bodily signal is actually above range and the person also over-holds it as evidence of harm. A diagnosis, health fear, or reassurance loop alone may center cognition or attention rather than B+/P+, and support can help without being universally required.
