Definition

Unresolved meaning-questions are taken in and churned: religious doubt and existential dread are over-received and cycled rather than settled. Distinct from Mild Bypass, whose over-receiving is eager and positive-toned with felt-life engaged, and from Mild Scrupulous, whose intake runs through moral checking. Here the tone is dysphoric — dread and doubt absorbed, then ruminated, with no verdict-weight or eager seeking.
