Manifestation Depletion Somatic Fatigue

cascade-variant.manifestation-depletion-somatic-fatigueclinical register

Definition

A body-located fatigue idiom of the shenjing shuairuo / neurasthenia type described in post-Mao Chinese clinical settings — a recognized fatigue presentation in its own context. Distinct from CFS (no PEM-cardinal-feature requirement) and from depression by the somatic-primary presentation in which fatigue and body-located symptoms anchor the experience rather than mood. The fatigue is located in the disruption of role-meaning and family-relational ground — the body becoming the site of an attrition that began upstream in the social and meaning structure.
