cascade-variant
Passion Flood Appetitive Surge
Definition
An eating episode fits Passion Flood only when emotional intensity and enacted behavior are both above range. An eating-disorder diagnosis, amount eaten, shame, or ingestion content alone does not establish V+/E+, and internal row targets are not clinical differentials. The form is distinguished from other Passion patterns by the simultaneous high affect and action, not by assuming a consummatory discharge cycle.
