cascade-variant
Passion Flood Euphoric Surge
Definition
A manic or hypomanic presentation fits Passion Flood only when affective intensity and enactment are both above range. Diagnosis, euphoria, reduced sleep, or grandiosity alone does not prove the pair, and religious content must not be treated as pathological without the broader episode and impairment context. Substance-induced and medical states remain differentials rather than proof that an episode is endogenous.
