Presence Depletion Interoceptive Blunting
Definition
Sustained restrictive starvation flattens the interoceptive substrate at its source: hunger, satiety, and body-ownership signals thin until attention holds a beam over nothing. Distinct from post-viral-thin, where infection depletes the autonomic floor, and from allostatic-drift's dose-dependent stress load — here the emptying is metabolically driven by chronic undernutrition, and refeeding, not pacing, is the precondition for return.
