Presence Freeze Attention Decouple
Definition
Bodily signal stays loud while attention repeatedly loses contact with it — body and attending running in separate frames. In the detachment form the split is not chosen: attention simply fails to hold the body, sometimes alongside dissociative detachment, though that is not required. In the pain-avoidant form the flight is motivated — the body signals pain at full volume and, because pain pulls for attention, attention answers by fleeing into thought and busyness, so the hurt stays loud and unattended while focus runs everywhere it is not. Numb or quiet bodily experience points to a different Presence state, and Bracing Shutoff differs by high defensive tone holding the body rather than attention leaving it.
