Presence Saturation Pain Hypersensitivity

Definition

Bodily pain runs above range while attention stays steady and proportionate — the excess is in the signal, not in the appraisal. Centrally sensitized signalling is one route in: nociceptive gain is raised at spinal and cortical stages, so the pain is real signal amplified, arriving under attention that tracks it accurately, with movement contracting around it as protective guarding that further densifies the somatic field. Hypersensitivity arising by other mechanisms fits the same pattern, so none of the chronic-primary or nociplastic labels on its own establishes the centered Focus this variant requires, and hypervigilant or avoidant attention changes the Presence state even when the pain is equally real. Distinct from the symptom-amplification floods by Focus staying at setpoint rather than the appraisal doing the amplifying.
