Regard Collapse Consumed Blank

Definition

Preoccupation disengagement: attentional bandwidth consumed by an absorbing loss, so the person cannot attend to remaining others. Distinct from Mind Blanks (activation-triggered mentalizing failure) and Attachment Trigger (dissociative collapse) by intact mentalizing capacity diverted toward the absorbing focus; from Signal Loss (stable ASD difference) and Mood Withdrawal (mood-driven anhedonic pull) by being preoccupation-driven and reversing as the preoccupation integrates.
