cascade-variant
Regard Fixation Fearing Impact
Definition
Taijin kyofusho offensive-form (対人恐怖症) — Cultural Concept of Distress documented in Japan/Korea where social-anxiety phenomenology inverts directionally from Western SAD: concern about self's effect on other rather than other's judgment of self. Distinct from Social Monitor (Western subclinical SAD) by directionality of attribution and centrality of body-channel monitoring (sekimen, jikoshu, shubo subtypes). East-Asian cultural-psychiatry literature establishes the cross-cultural specificity.
