Sensitivity Collapse Sensory Numbing

cascade-variant.sensitivity-collapse-sensory-numbingclinical register

Definition

Receiving capacity cannot take in the body ground it would register, and the somatic field thins to nothing in both directions — no body signal arriving, and no opening to register it if it did. The Physical column drops as Bond, Focus, and Move lose their somatic ground, while Open extends its closure into Emotional as receptive contact thins for feeling too. Reads as a deadened, unfurnished body that no longer reports itself inward. Distinct from depressive blunting by the dissociative split that holds the numbing in place.
