Definition
Health anxiety / hypochondriasis with three-component cognitive maintenance over an emptied body-domain: the over-engaged trigger is OP working the thin domain as symptom-search, while catastrophic-interpretation cognitive fixation (FM) and affective amplification (OE) run as the activated substitutes. Focus, Bond, and VP (FP,BP,VP) lose ground — attending, holding, and acting at the body starve over the empty domain while scanning substitutes for reception. Body-checking and reassurance-seeking are maintenance behaviors that keep the loop running and are interrupted via the motor cognitive non-completion at VM relief. Distinguished from SSD (Sensory Amplification) by primary fear-of-disease cognitive content rather than symptom-amplification per se.
