cascade-variant
Vision Collapse Horizon Loss
Definition
A depressive collapse of the meaning-horizon: the attentional beam cannot settle on any meaningful future — a suicide-risk-bearing variant. Distinct from Meaning Burnout (depersonalization, intact future-sense) and Dark Night Of Spirit (non-resistant purification, retained faith) by negative-future cognition and lost forward-pull; from Purpose Torpor (restless aversion) and Life Clinging (death-fear substrate) by hopeless, anhedonic flatness rather than aversion or clinging.
