Vision Flood Hypersalience Apophenia
Definition
A delusional-mood prodrome with pathologically heightened significance: every event, object, and coincidence reads as personally and cosmically meaningful, and the conviction is ego-syntonic — the significance feels revealed, not intrusive. Distinct from Scrupulous Spiral, where the meaning-content is moral, ego-dystonic, and tied to neutralizing rituals, and from Meaning Saturation, a dysphoric contemplative seeking that doubts itself — here the significance is held with certainty and pulls everything into reference.
