Definition

Sustained holding at Physical with too little Physical content to bind with. Bond stays fully engaged but the somatic ground it would grip has fallen below usable range, so substitute work stands in for what the body is no longer supplying — substitution rather than simple emptiness. Propagation runs through Physical and outward: Focus and Move can thin further as attending and acting on the body find little to meet, while Bond extends substitute work into Emotional, Mental, and Relational, where surrogate body-contact can be constructed. More holding does not restore missing signal; as bodily signal returns, the substitution can ease.
