Definition
Receiving narrows while relating turns inward at the same time. Open takes in less of another person than the exchange offers, and Relational organizes around the self's own vantage rather than around mutual contact — others remain fully real, but they are not what the relating is aimed at. Propagation spreads from that pairing: Focus, Bond, and Move can lose their outward purchase over the same domain, and Open extends its closure into Emotional as receptive contact thins for feeling too. Recovery is joint: intake widens and relating turns back toward the other before the spread eases along the path that carried it. Neither pole must reach zero, and no fixed order is guaranteed.
