Intimacy Depletion
Definition
Receiving stays clear while relating keeps returning to the self. Open holds at its proper setpoint — another person's tone, needs, and invitations register accurately — but Relational organizes around the self's own vantage, so what comes in keeps being routed back to one's own agenda rather than met as mutual exchange. Propagation stays largely within Relational: Focus, Bond, and Move can carry the same inward turn, attending, holding, and acting from the self's side of the exchange. Other domains stay intact, except in the singular-void form, where receiving also thins at Emotional as the one exchange that carried feeling is gone. Open working alone will not turn this outward; relating re-widens toward the other, and the spread eases behind it.
