Merging
Definition
Merging carries Bond from Connecting toward Fusing when the connection persists while a distinction necessary to it is erased. Identity, ownership, role, agency, boundary, or another domain-native distinction becomes unavailable within what remains joined. Merging is not closeness, unity, assimilation, commitment, or incorporation where every necessary distinction remains intact. The relevant distinction depends on the domain and cannot be imported automatically from interpersonal boundaries.
