Definition

When a somatic-symptom or health-anxiety formulation includes catastrophic appraisal that is maintaining Physical Fusing, routing escape to Acuity FM can use somatic CBT to examine that appraisal. When literal attachment to symptom thoughts is independently contributing, ACT defusion can reduce those thoughts' behavioral control. Cross-capacity, cross-domain delivery addresses those associated cognitive processes without making catastrophizing the cause of every B+/P+ symptom identity.
