Definition

When sustained body attention is tolerable, intervention at Presence FP can use body scan, body-and-breath practice, or body contemplation to develop deliberate contact with sensation. Sensorimotor body tracking belongs within a clinician-led trauma formulation. When panic disorder or clinically significant fear of bodily sensations is independently assessed and medical safety is established, clinician-guided interoceptive exposure can deliberately evoke selected sensations. Same-domain, cross-capacity delivery supports discrimination of sensation from threat without guaranteeing that arousal will pass without amplification.
