For an adolescent eating-disorder presentation in which family-based treatment is directly assessed as appropriate, intervention at Belonging BR can use parental alliance across nutritional rehabilitation and recovery. Same-capacity, cross-domain delivery supplies relational scaffolding in that treatment context without defining the parent as an auxiliary self or assuming every person with Physical Merging needs family-based care.
