Acuity Freeze Overwhelm Shutdown
Definition
Cognitive-overload presentation: Mental remains loud while Focus cannot land or organize the input. It differs from a single-content intrusion, a self-referential negative-content presentation, and dissociative drift by the breadth and immediacy of the load. The grid does not identify a dorsal-vagal state or guarantee that direct input reduction is sufficient; those judgments require separate clinical evidence.
