Definition

Feeling carries Emotional from Numb toward Felt as actual affective participation becomes experientially present at the declared scope. Affect can be genuinely felt and differentiated without requiring immediate explanation, foreground attention, ownership, or expression. Feeling is not thinking about emotion, performing emotion, or reacting from emotion. Threshold admission, foreground attention, ownership, and expression are separate capacity variables and require independent evidence. An expected emotion may genuinely not arise; neutrality, delayed response, or a different emotion must not be presumed to conceal blockage.
