Releasing
Definition
Releasing carries Focus from Fixating toward Directing as attention regains the ability to widen, shift, soften, or leave its target while a coherent foreground remains available. Peripheral awareness becomes available again, and attention regains leave-and-return optionality without losing the capacity to attend. Releasing does not require abandoning the object or reducing its importance. Intense sustained Focus remains Centered when disengagement and re-engagement are available.
